Ekaterina Castano, M.D., Associate Medical Director
Dr. Castano received her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Cum Laude from Columbia University in New York City and her Doctor of Medicine from State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Montefiore Medical Center, University Hospital for Albert Einstein School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Genitourinary and Renal Pathology at the Yale University School of Medicine in in New Haven, Connecticut.
Her research includes work with patients with interstitial nephritis, amyloidosis, and mycosis fungoides and she has contributed to numerous publications that are published in journals such as American Journal of Kidney Disease and Journal of Cutaneous Pathology. Board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, Dr. Castano is a member of Renal Pathology Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology, College of American Pathologists and the American Medical Association.
